How We Serve

Weekly Worship

Saturday at 4 p.m.
The Saturday service is a relaxed, fairly traditional Lutheran service. Much of the service is spoken, but hymns and some service music are accompanied by piano.

Sunday at 8:30 a.m.
In this service, you will find traditional Lutheran liturgy. The sanctuary has a projection screen that is used to present the entire service, giving worshipers the ability to participate in worship without having to “flip through a book or bulletin.” Hymns and service music are accompanied by organ. Here you may hear musical offerings by the Christus Choir and/or the handbell choir.

Sunday at 10:45 a.m.
The Cross+Over contemporary worship service has all the elements of a traditional service but is presented in a way that is accessible to both those familiar with Christian worship and those who are new to worship. This entire service is also presented on the projection screen. The worship music is provided by the Cross+Over band.

Additional Worship Information
Holy Communion is celebrated each week at all three worship services. At St. Thomas/Holy Spirit, people wear the clothes that make them feel most comfortable worshiping God. There is no expectation of a certain style of dress. You would not be out of place in jeans, or in a shirt and tie, or anything in-between. We believe that being present together in worship is much more important than what we wear on Sunday morning.
